RRB Group-D CBT-I Exam Date 2026

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is conducting the RRB Group D (Level-1) Recruitment 2025-26 to fill 22,195 vacancies across various departments of Indian Railways. The Computer Based Test (CBT-I) is scheduled to be held from 03 August 2026 to 21 August 2026 in multiple shifts at examination centres across the country. Candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms should regularly check their respective RRB regional websites for the latest updates regarding the examination.

The CBT-I will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions covering Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness & Current Affairs. The examination is the first stage of the selection process, and candidates who qualify will be shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). After clearing the PET, shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification (DV) and a Medical Examination (ME) before final selection.

The Exam City Intimation Slip is expected to be released from 25 July 2026, while the Admit Card (e-Call Letter) will be available approximately 4 days before the candidate's scheduled exam date. Candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid original photo ID to the examination centre and follow all instructions issued by the Railway Recruitment Board. Reaching the exam venue well before the reporting time and adhering to the official guidelines will help ensure a smooth examination process.
